LegacyGrid AI is an independent engineering advisory and technology intelligence firm. We provide data-center readiness assessments, pre-FEED advisory, infrastructure and energy strategy, software-enabled intelligence, and global supplier-evaluation support. We help data-center, energy, institutional, and infrastructure stakeholders evaluate readiness, manage complexity, and make better decisions — before commitments are made, before contracts are signed, and before construction begins.

Our practice is built on a single operating principle: the owner's decision comes first. LegacyGrid AI defines the client and duty of care in writing for every engagement and does not represent opposing parties in the same decision without informed written consent. We do not accept commissions, referral fees, or equity from vendors, contractors, developers, or technology providers. That independence is the foundation of every engagement.

LegacyGrid AI advises higher-education institutions, infrastructure owners, public agencies, utilities, economic-development organizations, and other parties responsible for consequential AI infrastructure decisions. Every engagement defines the client, decision rights, conflicts, scope boundaries, and required licensed-party involvement in writing. LegacyGrid AI is not affiliated with Prairie View A&M University, Serverfarm, or any other institution or operator referenced in our public research. References to institutions, operators, and projects are based on publicly available information unless a signed engagement is expressly disclosed.

Professional Practice Boundary

LegacyGrid AI provides advisory, planning, assessment, and systems engineering services. Final design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and professional engineering approvals must be performed by appropriately licensed and qualified parties where required.

AI Infrastructure Systems Engineering™ (AISE™) is LegacyGrid AI's proprietary methodology for evaluating, planning, and governing the full system of infrastructure required for artificial intelligence. It treats power, fiber, cooling, water, resilience, security, governance, and sustainability as one connected system — not as isolated disciplines.

Carl Adams co-founded LegacyGrid AI to build the infrastructure advisory practice that HBCUs, cities, and institutions deserve — one that puts owner interests first. He brings direct experience in AI infrastructure strategy, community engagement, and deal structure, and has presented the LegacyGrid framework before the Prairie View City Council and to institutional stakeholders across Texas. Carl leads client engagements, infrastructure assessments, and the firm's EDC Framework development.
