What is xFRA?
SPAN's xFRA is a network of enterprise-grade AI compute nodes — each packing 16 NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs — deployed at homes, schools, and small commercial buildings using existing behind-the-meter power capacity. No new grid interconnects. No multi-year construction timelines. No $15M/MW price tag.
The XSOL orchestration layer coordinates thousands of nodes into a coherent cloud that hyperscalers, AI companies, and cloud gaming providers can buy compute from — while the host institution receives discounted electricity, high-speed internet, and revenue from the compute hosted on their property.
SPAN is currently working with residential new construction builders (PulteGroup is the first). The commercial xFRA node — designed for schools, businesses, and office buildings — is planned for early 2027. LegacyGrid is building the Texas institutional pipeline now, so we are first in line.

Why LegacyGrid
xFRA's commercial expansion requires partners who have institutional access, construction networks, energy infrastructure knowledge, and community trust. That is LegacyGrid's exact profile.
LegacyGrid has direct relationships with 9 Texas HBCUs and is actively developing K-12 school district partnerships across the state. SPAN needs deployment sites. We have them — and we have the trust to get institutions to say yes.
LegacyGrid's construction partners are already building in the Texas corridors where xFRA nodes need to go. New construction is SPAN's current deployment channel. We are already in those conversations.
xFRA nodes require SPAN Panels and battery integration. LegacyGrid's EDC-3 energy resilience layer — Tesla Megapack BESS + solar — is the exact infrastructure that makes institutional xFRA deployments reliable and grid-stable.
LegacyGrid's existing model already structures deals with no upfront cost to schools. The xFRA revenue share model maps directly onto how we already structure HBCU partnerships.
xFRA node installation, maintenance, and monitoring requires trained technicians. LegacyGrid's Workforce Academy is designed to produce exactly this talent pipeline — from the communities where the nodes will be deployed.
SPAN's 2027 expansion targets gigawatt scale. Texas has 9 HBCUs, hundreds of K-12 districts, and a booming new construction market. LegacyGrid is the single partner that can aggregate all three deployment channels into one coordinated Texas network.

Deployment Channels
Each channel represents a different institutional relationship — and a different path to gigawatt-scale deployment across Texas.
04
The Economics
SPAN CEO Arch Rao confirmed: 3–5 years and $15M/MW for a traditional data center. xFRA delivers the same compute at 8,000 sites in 6 months at $3M/MW — a 5× cost reduction and 6–10× faster deployment.
For Texas institutions, the model is even more compelling. The school hosts the node at no upfront cost. SPAN owns the compute hardware. The institution receives a fixed monthly benefit package. LegacyGrid structures the deal and ensures community benefit terms are enforceable.
05
Phase 1 Anchor

Prairie View A&M University sits at the center of the Waller County AI infrastructure corridor — 12 miles from Serverfarm's Hockley activity, inside a county with available land, utility capacity, and a university with 1,440 acres and an active AI initiative (PantherXAI).
The PVAMU xFRA deployment would be the first institutional distributed AI compute deployment in Texas — and the proof of concept that unlocks every subsequent HBCU, K-12, and new construction deployment in the state.

How to Partner
Whether you are a school, a district, a developer, or SPAN itself — there is a path to work with LegacyGrid on the Texas xFRA network.
Your campus hosts xFRA nodes on existing land or buildings. No upfront cost. You receive discounted electricity, high-speed internet, and a revenue share from the compute hosted on your property. LegacyGrid structures and manages the deal.
Schedule a Feasibility Call →Your district hosts xFRA nodes and gains on-campus access to NVIDIA-grade AI compute for student education programs. LegacyGrid handles the partnership structure, installation coordination, and workforce training pipeline.
Contact LegacyGrid →Integrate SPAN Panels and xFRA nodes into your new construction specs from the foundation. Your buyers and tenants receive discounted electricity and internet. Your development gets a premium infrastructure story.
Talk to Our Team →LegacyGrid is actively seeking a formal deployment partnership with SPAN to serve as the Texas institutional channel for xFRA commercial expansion. We have the sites, the relationships, and the infrastructure layer. Let's talk.
